TEMPO INDICATIONS

To tell you in wich tempo you have to play a music piece, there are many different words to use.
In classical music we often use Italian words and in pop music we mostly use English words.
Remember the meaning of: "quarternote=80": play in a tempo of 80 beats (quarternotes) per minute!
It is easy to ajust the right speed with the metronome, an invention of Johann Nepomuk Mälzel (+/-1800)
